Alessandra Figari

Born in Milan, Italy in 1960 she is the Course Director at Akumal Dive Shop n° 1806 – a Five Star IDC Center, located in Akumal, in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.

She is not only a PADI Course Director but also a PADI Technical Trainer and EFR Trainer, NSS-CDS Full Cave Diver, APSA Certified Cavern and Cave Guide, IANTD Cavern Instructor and Ad. Nitrox Instructor. She divides her time between training and guiding her customers both in the ocean and in the cenotes and caves.

She is in charge of the PADI Instructor Career Program offering professional recreational diving programs from Open Water to Instructor level both in the recreational and technical area. She is also in charge of the cave guided diving program, taking cave divers to enjoy the beautifully decorated caves of the Yucatan region.

She has been diving in Mexico, Jamaica, Honduras, Belize, Italy and teaches her courses in Italian, English, French and Spanish.
